The Hermitage-Kazan Centre is a satellite branch of St Petersburg's State Hermitage Museum, housed in one of the old palaces inside the Kazan Kremlin. It hosts rotating exhibitions of pieces from the parent collection — typically two or three a year, on themes from Persian miniature painting to 17th-century Dutch art.
The space is small but well presented. Captioning is bilingual, in Russian and English. Modest admission. A good rainy-day stop while you are already at the Kremlin.
