Ed Mirvish Theatre

The Ed Mirvish Theatre opened in 1920 as the Pantages Theatre, a grand vaudeville and movie house near Yonge-Dundas. After decades of changes, including a period as a multiplex, it was restored and returned to live performance in 1989.

The theatre is best experienced with a ticket, but the building is part of Toronto's historic theatre district and worth noticing if you are moving between Massey Hall, the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre and Sankofa Square.
