St. Lawrence Hall is a handsome Renaissance Revival building from 1850, built as one of Toronto's main public meeting places. It hosted political speeches, concerts, and civic events when this part of the city was still close to the centre of public life.
Today it is mostly an event venue, but the exterior is worth a look when you are around St. Lawrence Market or walking through old Toronto.
