The Gardiner Museum is Toronto's specialist museum for ceramics, across from the Royal Ontario Museum in Bloor-Yorkville. Its galleries cover rare ceramics, European porcelain, and Chinese blue-and-white ware.
It is smaller and quieter than the ROM, but worth a deliberate stop for decorative arts, design, and craft. Guided tours are often available.
