First Toronto Post Office is an 1834 postal building that now works as a small museum and functioning post office. It is the oldest surviving purpose-built post office in Canada, with late Georgian architecture and exhibits on postal and local history.
The most charming part is practical: visitors can write an old-fashioned folded letter with a quill pen and sealing wax. It is a short but worthwhile stop between St. Lawrence Market and the Garden District.
