Toronto-Dominion Centre

Toronto-Dominion Centre is best known as a sharp black-and-glass business district landmark, but the small lawn at its centre has a softer surprise: The Pasture, Joe Fafard's group of seven life-size bronze cows. The sculptures sit calmly between the towers, making one of downtown Toronto's stranger little public-art pauses.

It is not a destination to cross town for on its own, but it works well while walking between Union Station, the Financial District, and nearby theatre and shopping blocks.
