Fenghuang Mountain, or Phoenix Mountain, is a forested hill area in northwestern Shenzhen with paved hiking paths and long stair climbs through the trees.
The main destination on the mountain is Fengyan Temple, but the walk itself is part of the appeal. It is a good choice when you want a more local outdoor break from Shenzhen's dense urban core.
