Tanglang Mountain is a forested ridge between Nanshan and Futian, crossed by a large network of paths and stairs. The 432-metre summit gives broad views over Shenzhen's western skyline, Shenzhen Bay, and the hills of Hong Kong's New Territories.
The main route gets plenty of local walkers, but side trails are much quieter. Bring water and snacks, because there is little for sale once you are on the mountain.
