Inamuragasaki is a low cape and beach area west of central Kamakura, loved for its open view toward Enoshima and, on clear days, Mount Fuji. It is less temple-heavy than inland Kamakura and gives the city a salt-air pause along the Shonan coast.
Come near sunset if the weather is clear. The beach is not the area's cleanest swimming spot, but the view, sea breeze, and easy Enoden access make it a satisfying change of pace between shrines and Zen gardens.
