Shichirigahama is the long, open beach west of central Kamakura, facing Sagami Bay with Enoshima often visible offshore. It is less about temple-hopping and more about the easy rhythm of the Shonan coast: surf, sea wind, and trains running close to the water.
The beach is good for a walk at sunset or as a slower break between Kamakura and Enoshima. Swimming conditions vary and the shore can be rough, but the view and the relaxed seaside mood make it one of the area's most memorable non-temple stops.
