Tucked inside the central post office building near Myeongdong, the Korean Postal Museum traces communication in Korea from the Joseon-era royal courier system through Japanese colonial stamps to the modern postal service. The collection includes old mailboxes, historic stamps, postal uniforms, and the original instruments used to cancel mail by hand.
It is a small museum and free to enter, so it pairs well with a walk through the Myeongdong shopping district. Most visitors spend about thirty minutes. Signage is in Korean and English.
