Yaksuam is a small Buddhist temple in southern Seoul with a history traditionally linked to the Silla period. The present temple is modern, but the site is treated locally as an old religious place and makes a quiet contrast with the busier parks and commercial streets nearby.
It is worth a short stop if you are already exploring the Boramae or Gwanak area, rather than a cross-city trip on its own.
