This granite pagoda in Gangseo is a small but worthwhile stop if you are already exploring the western side of Seoul. It dates from the late Goryeo period, when Buddhist stonework was becoming simpler and more restrained, and it still keeps a quiet dignity despite its damaged upper tier.
The pagoda stands with a stone Buddha nearby, giving the temple grounds a compact pair of officially protected cultural properties. It is not a cross-city must-see, but it adds a real historical note to a part of Seoul that most visitors skip.
