The sister institution to Bunk'Art 1, and the more focused of the two. Bunk'Art 2 occupies an underground bunker behind the Ministry of Internal Affairs and tells the history of the Sigurimi, Albania's communist-era secret police. Twenty-four small rooms cover surveillance, persecution, torture, and the labour camps, in spare and effective displays.
It is smaller and more affecting than Bunk'Art 1 — an hour or so is enough — and far closer to the centre, just behind Skanderbeg Square. Combined tickets with the House of Leaves are available.
