Kapllan Pasha Tomb

A small Ottoman türbe — domed mausoleum — built in 1820 for Kapllan Pasha Toptani, the local strongman of his day. The structure is now stranded between modern apartment blocks and a tram-stop, an unlikely fragment of pre-communist Tirana.

A two-minute stop, but together with the Tanners' Bridge and the Sulejman Pasha Mosque it traces a useful Ottoman heritage walk through the modern centre.
