The Dajti Express is a 15-minute Austrian-built gondola that lifts you 1,610 metres up Mount Dajti from the eastern outskirts of Tirana. The views back over the city are progressively more dramatic the higher you climb.
At the top there is a restaurant, a small adventure park, the Bunk'Art 1 museum at the lower station, and several easy walking trails through beech forest. A taxi from the centre to the lower station is the usual approach. Allow at least half a day for the full trip.
