Murat Toptani Street is a short pedestrian lane east of Rinia Park, paved in stone and running near the old Tirana Castle walls. Traditional houses, cafes, trees, and the remains of the fortress make it one of the more pleasant small walks in the centre.
It works best as part of a loop through Skanderbeg Square, the castle area, and the New Bazaar. Come in the late afternoon when the cafes are busy and the stone lane feels less like a shortcut and more like a pocket of old Tirana.
