St Paul's Cathedral

The Catholic cathedral of Tirana, consecrated in 2002, sits a short walk south of the Pyramid. Modest in size but with a strong modern interior and a contemporary statue of Mother Teresa — born in nearby Skopje to Albanian parents — in front of the building. The cathedral has become a focus for the country's Catholic minority, particularly the Tirana diaspora returning for major feast days.
