Parisi Udvar

Parisi Udvar is one of central Budapest's most ornate covered shopping passages. Built in 1912 for a savings bank, it mixes Gothic, Moorish, Art Nouveau, and eclectic details into a glass-roofed arcade.

Step inside for the tiled surfaces, ironwork, and restored turn-of-the-century shopping-hall atmosphere. It is a quick stop, but a memorable one if you are already walking between Ferenciek tere, Vaci utca, and the Danube.
