The Timewheel is a huge granite, steel, and glass hourglass near City Park. It was unveiled in 2004 to mark Hungary's entry into the European Union and is built so that its glass granules take a full year to fall from the upper chamber to the lower one.
It is a quick stop rather than a major sight, but its scale makes it worth a look when walking between Heroes' Square, City Park, and the museums nearby.
