Vigado Concert Hall

Vigado Concert Hall is a romantic 19th-century landmark on the Pest side of the Danube. Frigyes Feszl designed it with Moorish and Hungarian decorative elements, and its riverfront facade gives the embankment one of its more theatrical buildings.

The hall is best seen from outside during a Danube walk, though concerts and cultural events give a reason to go in. The interior includes frescoes and sculpture from the period when the building was one of Budapest's main social venues.
