Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Church

Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Church is a former Capuchin church and monastery in Víziváros, below the Buda Castle hill. The complex was built between 1697 and 1716, then given its Romantic facade in the mid-19th century.

It is a quiet stop rather than a headline sight, but the church works well as part of a walk along the Buda side of the Danube, especially if you are moving between the riverfront and the Castle District.
