Corpus Christi Church is one of Kazimierz's great Gothic churches, founded in the 14th century under King Casimir the Great. The outside is sober brick Gothic, but the interior is rich Baroque, with an imposing high altar and carved choir stalls.
It is also the burial place of Bartolomeo Berrecci, the Renaissance architect best known in Krakow for his work at Wawel.
