Divine Mercy Sanctuary

The Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Łagiewniki is one of Krakow's major pilgrimage sites. The modern basilica was built between 1999 and 2002 and draws visitors connected with the devotion to Divine Mercy and Saint Faustina Kowalska.

You can climb the tower for a wide view over southern Krakow. Even if you are not visiting as a pilgrim, the sanctuary is a useful stop for understanding the city's modern Catholic life.
