St. Giles Church

St. Giles Church is one of Krakow's older churches, traditionally linked to Duke Wladyslaw Herman's thanksgiving for the birth of his son. The present Gothic form dates mainly from later medieval rebuilding.

It is a small stop compared with Wawel or St. Mary's Basilica, but its age and position below the castle make it worth noticing while walking between Stradom, Wawel, and the Old Town.
