Bajrakli Mosque is the last active mosque from Ottoman Belgrade, a compact but important survivor in the Dorcol quarter. Its minaret and courtyard are modest, but the building carries the memory of a city that once had many mosques and a far more visibly Ottoman street life.
It is easy to include while walking between Kalemegdan, Knez Mihailova, and the old neighbourhoods below. Visit respectfully and remember that this is a working religious site, not just a relic of Belgrade's layered past.
