The Albright-Knox Art Gallery, rebranded the Buffalo AKG in 2023 after a major OMA-designed expansion. Strong on Abstract Expressionism — Pollock, Rothko, de Kooning — with a surprise-grade collection of contemporary work. The new Jeffrey E. Gundlach Building and the rehung galleries have turned it into one of the best smaller art museums in North America.
