Delaware Avenue Historic District

Delaware Avenue Historic District preserves the stretch of Buffalo once known as Millionaire's Row, where the city's late-19th- and early-20th-century wealth announced itself in mansions, clubs, and institutional buildings. The listed district runs roughly between North and Bryant Streets.

Many houses are now offices or nonprofit headquarters, so this is mainly an exterior architecture walk. It is still one of the best ways to understand how rich Buffalo became during its industrial peak.
