St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral is the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York and one of Buffalo's strongest Gothic Revival landmarks. Richard Upjohn designed the church in the mid-19th century, and the building remains a key stop for anyone following Buffalo's architecture.
It is close to downtown's other major civic and commercial landmarks, so it fits easily into a walking route with Niagara Square, City Hall, and the Guaranty Building.
