Martin Luther King Jr. Park is the East Side member of Buffalo's Olmsted park system. Opened in 1872 as The Parade, it combines walking paths, lawns, a rose garden, the Humboldt Basin, and the Buffalo Museum of Science in a historic urban park setting.
