The former home and studio of Pedro Nel Gómez (1899–1984), the most important Antioquian muralist and one of the architects who shaped twentieth-century Medellin. The house itself, designed by Gómez, has the largest concentration of his frescoes anywhere — vivid, social-realist scenes of paisa working life lining the walls and ceilings. Free admission. Combine with a walk through the surrounding Aranjuez district, where many of his civic murals can still be seen on public buildings.
