The Cat Museum leans fully into Kuching's feline nickname. Set at Kuching North City Hall on Bukit Siol, it gathers cat art, photos, souvenirs, advertising, and pop-culture figures into a collection that is more oddball than scholarly.
It is not a must-see for every visitor, but it is a fun detour if you enjoy strange museums or want a break from riverfront history and food. The hilltop setting also gives you a different angle on the city.
