Moscow Theatre, usually known locally as Moscow Cinema, is a familiar central Yerevan cultural landmark. Its value for visitors is partly architectural and partly practical: it anchors Charles Aznavour Square and remains a place where film screenings and events keep the area active beyond daytime sightseeing.
It is not a reason to come to Yerevan by itself, but it is worth noticing while walking between the Opera, Northern Avenue, and Republic Square. If a screening, festival, or event lines up with your visit, it can also be an easy way to experience the city after dark.
