Yerevan Botanical Garden is a large, slightly rough-edged green space in the north of the city, far from the cafe rhythm of Kentron. Its collections include Armenian and Caucasus plants, and the grounds give a sense of the dry continental landscape around Yerevan.
Do not come expecting a manicured imperial garden. Its appeal is quieter: shade, long paths, scientific plantings, and a chance to see how the city thins out toward the hills.
