Kazys Varnelis House-Museum is a small Old Town museum devoted to the Lithuanian abstract artist and collector, who spent much of his life in the United States before returning to Vilnius in the 1990s. The museum preserves his home, studio setting and works as part of the National Museum of Lithuania.
The appeal is intimate rather than blockbuster: geometric abstraction, personal rooms and the sense of an artist's late-life return. It pairs well with other small Vilnius art and house museums nearby.
