Museum of Applied Arts & Design

The Museum of Applied Arts & Design occupies the Old Arsenal of the Lower Castle, a 15th-century building once used to store heavy artillery. Its exhibitions cover Lithuanian prehistory and early history, with displays that connect the castle complex to the wider story of Vilnius before Christianity.

It is close to the cathedral, Gediminas Castle, and the Palace of the Grand Dukes, so it works well as part of a focused walk through the old state centre.
