The Church of Saint Nedela is a ruined church on the west side of Matka Canyon. Only walls and arches remain, but icons and candle-lighting places keep it connected to religious use as well as hiking.
It is a small stop, but the canyon setting gives it more presence than the ruins alone would. Look for it while walking the trails around Matka rather than making a special trip from central Skopje.
