The Philip II Monument stands on a tall pedestal near the Stone Bridge, facing the larger Alexander the Great monument across the Vardar. It is one of the more visible pieces from Skopje's monumental city-centre rebuild and a useful orientation point between the old bazaar and Macedonia Square.
