Cathedral Park

Cathedral Park (Parcul Catedralei) wraps around the base of the Orthodox Cathedral at the southern end of Victory Square — a small but well-kept formal park with rose beds, lawns, and a fountain. The park forms the transition between the Victory Square axis and the green corridor along the Bega Canal further south.

The park is a popular sit-down spot during the day and a gathering point for evening promenades — particularly when the cathedral is illuminated. It connects via short paths to Anton Scudier Central Park to the west and to the Bega waterfront and Justice Park to the south. The Capitoline Wolf and the cathedral steps are both within sight from the park benches.
