Templo de la Compañía de Jesús

A vast pink-cantera Jesuit church built between 1747 and 1765, with one of the largest neoclassical domes in Mexico (added in 1884 after the original collapsed). The façade is Churrigueresque, dripping with carved pilasters and saints; the interior is much cleaner, with three high naves and a sequence of altarpieces. Often quieter than the basilica.
