A small eighteenth-century baroque church attached to a former hospital on the way up to the Plazuela San Roque. The hospital cared for the city's silver miners, many of whom died of mercury poisoning or lung disease. The church is plain inside but the location, halfway up a steep alley, makes it a useful pause.
