Mao Zedong stayed at this Wuchang residence with his family in 1927 while carrying out revolutionary work in Wuhan. The original building was demolished in 1957 and rebuilt a decade later, and it now operates as a branch of the Wuhan Revolution Museum.
It is a small stop, but useful if you are tracing Wuhan's revolutionary history around Wuchang and the Yellow Crane Tower area.
