This restored residence is where Zhou Enlai and his wife lived for several months in 1938, while Zhou was helping coordinate resistance to Japan during the Second Sino-Japanese War. The rooms are presented as a small historic house museum rather than a large exhibition hall.
It is most worthwhile for visitors already interested in modern Chinese history or spending time around Wuhan University and East Lake.
