Wuhan Tianhe International Airport

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport sits about 25 kilometres north of the city centre in Huangpi District and is the principal airport of central China — the busiest in the region by a substantial margin. The current Terminal 3, opened in 2017, is a single great wave-roofed building used by both domestic and international flights.

Tianhe handles direct flights to Bangkok, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Paris, and most major Chinese cities. The airport is connected to the centre by Wuhan Metro Line 2 (about 45 minutes to Hankou) and by airport bus to all three central railway stations.
