The Wuchang riverfront is one of Wuhan's best evening walks, with broad views across the Yangtze and the city lights on the opposite bank. After dark, the riverside buildings are lit in coordinated patterns, turning the waterfront into a long open-air light show.
The full display is usually around 20:00 and lasts about half an hour. It is an easy add-on after visiting the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Hubu Alley, or the older streets of Wuchang.
