Anshun Bridge crosses the Jin River near Chengdu's Jiuyanqiao nightlife area and has become one of the city's most photographed evening views. The current covered bridge is a modern reconstruction, but it refers to an older river crossing on a site long associated with trade and movement through the city.
Come after dark, when the roofline, river reflections, and surrounding restaurants do most of the work. It is a quick stop rather than a deep historic sight, but it fits naturally into an evening walk along the water before or after dinner.
