River Viewing Pavilion Park

Qing-dynasty pavilion and 150 bamboo varieties along the Jinjiang

A four-storey Qing-dynasty wooden pavilion overlooks the Jinjiang River, at a park built in memory of the Tang female poet Xue Tao, who is said to have drawn water here to make her famous crimson writing paper. The park is best known for its bamboo: more than 150 varieties from across China, Japan and Southeast Asia, planted in groves and along the riverbank.
