The biggest flea market in the city, busiest on Saturdays and Sundays. Acres of tarp-covered stalls sell Soviet-era ceramics, military medals, samovars, suzani textiles, books, vinyl, propaganda posters, and oddments dragged out of family attics.
The real finds are mixed in with a lot of junk; pricing is opportunistic; haggling is expected. Come early — by 11 AM the best stuff has been picked over. Take a taxi; the location is south of the city and not well served by metro.
