The Fashion & Lace Museum connects Brussels' old lace trade with changing European fashion from the 18th century to the present. The collection includes lace, costume, textiles, and contemporary Belgian and Brussels design.
Because fragile textiles need careful conservation, the museum shows rotating selections rather than the whole collection at once. That makes the temporary exhibitions central to the visit.
