The Museum of China is a small ethnographic museum in Anderlecht, housed in the former Scheut mission. Its collection grew out of the missionaries' work in China and Mongolia, and covers popular religion, daily life, language, coins, and objects from the 17th to 19th centuries.
The tone is old-fashioned but the collection is unusual for Brussels. It is best for visitors with a specific interest in Chinese culture, missionary history, or small specialist museums outside the central circuit.
